Security

All problems involving immediate danger or potential criminal activity should be reported to 911.  Make sure the operator knows Sandalwood is within the Houston City limits.

The Sandalwood security is provided by the men and women of the Precinct Five Constable’s office who are dedicated to serving our community and to promote a safe and secure environment. The primary purpose of the Constables is to provide for the security of the neighborhood lakes and the common property.

Call the Constable’s dispatcher, 281-463-6666, to report non-emergency problems such as malicious mischief (e.g., loud, unruly partying at the lakes), trespassers at the lakes, unauthorized fishing or boating. When reporting suspicious persons, try to give a description of the person from head to toe.  Starting with hat, hair, glasses, facial, hair, race, color of clothing and direction of travel. When reporting suspicious vehicles try to give a description of color, year, make, body and license number. Also, call this number to report your vacation schedule in order to receive extra surveillance of your home while you are away.

Fill out a Vacation Watch Form  if you plan on being away from your home.  Complete the form at lease 7 days before you plan to leave.  You can fax it, mail it or call the dispatch and have a deputy come by and pick it up.
